Parent Role Qualification Requirements

Parent roles required on game day fall into 3 categories: Team officials, match officials and parent helpers.

Below are all roles and descriptions of compliance requirements where relevant. You can download a summary of the requirements here.

Parent helpers

(no qualifications required)

  • Scoreboard attendant - maybe required for home games at Wellington Reserve
  • Canteen helpers for home games (2 parents per half at both Columbia Park and Wellington Reserve)
  • Best and Fairest voters (2 parents per game, rostered throughout the season to ensure equal opportunity for every family to vote. Coach votes every week)
  • Oranges & Lollies (can be rostered, shared among a few families or one family may volunteer to look after it for the whole season)
